We charge based on the number of employee licenses purchased during your contract period. These licenses are applied to active employees only. Ex-employees are not counted toward the license usage.

Pricing is determined by three main factors: 1) The package type you choose (e.g., Starter, Basic, etc.) 2) The volume of employee licenses required 3) The Add-On features you choose

We do not charge for onboarding tasks such as system setup, training sessions, or parallel payroll runs. It’s all included — no hidden fees, no surprise charges.

No, we only offer yearly subscriptions.

This structure helps ensure successful usage of our system. Our onboarding process includes hands-on support from our team covering training, system setup, and configuration. We invest significant effort upfront to ensure everything runs smoothly and your team is fully confident using ByteHR from day one.

No, you don’t need to jump to the next full tier. We recommend selecting the closest employee tier and then adding employee licenses using our available Add-On options (e.g., 10, 25, 50 employees).

Our sales team will be happy to accommodate your specific needs to ensure the number of employee licenses purchased closely matches your actual headcount.

Yes. All packages include the ByteHR mobile app, even if your employees don’t actively use it.

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial, and we’re happy to extend it if needed.

However, we’ve found that trials are only effective when users actively engage with the system. That’s why we encourage you to start a trial when your team is ready to explore ByteHR seriously. Our sales team will be available throughout the trial period to answer questions, guide you, and ensure you get a meaningful experience.

Yes, the subscription automatically renews each year.

If you wish to cancel your subscription, please send an email to renewal@byte-hr.com at least 30 days before your current billing period expires.

Yes, the price will remain the same as agreed in your initial quote, unless there is a change in your package type or Add-Ons.

However, if a discount or promotional price was applied in Year 1, the renewal will follow the normal package rate from Year 2 onwards.

You can purchase additional employee licenses anytime during your subscription, with available Add-On options (10, 25, 50, 75, or 100 employees).

The price will be prorated based on your package rate and the number of months remaining in your current billing period.

From the next billing period onward, the full yearly amount for both your package and any active Add-Ons will be included in your renewal.

We do not offer cancellations or refunds once the yearly subscription has started.

This is because significant time and resources are invested upfront in onboarding, setup, and training. If you're facing issues, our account managers are available to help resolve any concerns and ensure you get the most out of the system.

Downgrades are not allowed during the current billing period. However, you can request a downgrade including reducing employee licenses or removing add-on features before your next subscription renewal.
